Seen by many of its customers as a high end brunch option, Anise serves up a vast multi-cuisine menu to its guests. Whilst predominantly Asian-inspired, there is a good choice of Mediterranean and seafood dishes on offer too.

The decor here is stunning, with huge hanging light fixtures and carved wooden sculptures, even modelling the 8 cooking stations on the points of a star anise. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, a great place to chat with friends over lunch. Located relatively near to Dubai airport, it could also be an ideal spot for business lunches as well. Whilst it's location may be slightly further out for the casual brunch goer, it's food, reputation and great staff make it a worthwhile trip.
