Sat on the edge of the Burj Lake, Thiptara is a a chic Thai restaurant, offering a sharing style Thai-based menu served straight to table. Whilst there is a leaning towards seafood, there's still plenty for meat eaters and veggies as well.

The decor here is lovely, it's warm and intimate despite the high vaulted ceilings, and there are gorgeous views of the lake to enjoy too. There's a relaxed feel to the atmosphere, and the staff are excellent. The food is delicious, it's clean, fresh and full of authentic flavours - it's refreshing to see this type of food represented so well. For couples and friends that are into Thai cuisine this is a must visit - the food is great, the setting is fantastic and it's excellent value for money.
